Similar thoughts and his mental toughness will surely be tested in his next fight whomever it may be against.

Defense and stamina, as mentioned earlier he is prone to certain shots, add this to the fact he fades in later rounds is a recipie for disaster

it's his Chin anytime his been caught flush by a fighter with good pop his been hurt it's only his heart that kept him in the Torres and Mosley fights , everything else about him is world class , thow i still think he can beat Magarito in a rematch if he fights a smarter fight

i would say stamina but i also believe its blood. in the stoppage before going down he kept wiping at the blood as if it was bothering him from seeing and i cant remember what round six or seven in his corner look like he had a blood vessel pop in his eye it was gunshot. cotto had problems in the urkal fight due to a cut as well. he still performed but not as well as he was. cotto now has been cut over his left eye twice. so i wonder now will there be tissue damage

I think it is his chin that is his Achilles' heel.

If he had a sturdier beard he could have stood his ground more than he actually did, traded big shots, and kept from backpedalling and/or moving too much which really pooped him out in the second half of the fight. I don't know if having a sturdier beard would be enough though, sturdier doesn't mean anywhere near Margarito's for sure, but the fight could probably have turned out differently had Cotto had enough in the tank for the latter rounds. Just probably.
