In a similar vein to the same question asked about AJ and Fury, what do you consider Wilder's legacy to be? Appreciate he could fight again, but as of where we stand today.

The man who made Eddie Hearn & AJ lose years of sleep

Imagine if Wilder had the right mentality to boxing and honed his right hand properly.

He got fame as the man who somehow got up after being floored by Dustin Nichol's notorious check jab.

    Other than that - meh.

    Paper champ with a punch

Joshua was a better fighter with a much greater resume, but I still think Wilder would chin him, at least post Wlad

Pity it never happened, would have been huge. But wilder for his many deficiencies and poor resume, did have heart and I think he would have smashed Joshua, perhaps climbing off the canvas to do so

Would have been fireworks either way and not lasted more than 3 rounds

Greatest example of cherry picking ever, with Fury a close second.

Yeah...Wilder vs Joshua in their primes would have been a great fight.

    Too bad it never happened.

One of the major champions of an era who held his title for 4 years through 10 defenses. Missed a big fight with Joshua and beat mostly sub-par opposition, exciting trilogy with Fury that took a lot out of him.

Most of all probably, one of the hardest punchers of all time, with skills that left a lot to be desired, but enough heart, athleticism, awkwardness, and timing to help the power get there.

Yep. We, as fans, were robbed of the era's best HWs fighting each other.

There were some good, competitive fights to be made that never happened.
