If u mean who did he look the Sharpest against in conjunction with the opponent being talented......I would say Corrales. But I believe his biggest victory against a top opponent at the TIME HE FOUGHT THEM would HAVE TO BE: Castillo II
Probably Hernandez - much underrated and underappreciated performance. Then N'Dou, DLH and Corrales. The reason I have the Corrales win 4th is that Corrales was unusally awful.
Manfredy shouldn't even be on the poll. Dumbass ref stopped that fight WAY too early. I don't even think Angel was hurt. It kinda looked like the Tyson/Savarese stoppage.
I will go against conventional opinion and say Gerena was his best performance his full of array of skills were on display. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XEmMG62TQhQ[/ame] [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jHAXuXg6to4[/ame]
Chico Corales best display of boxing of this era an absolutely flawless performance that would be top notch in any era.
Hatton, because the last four rounds, whatever you thought of the ref, were flawless. Brilliance, I was mesmerised by what he did. And if you wanna scoff, just watch those last four rounds again. I know it is outrageous to say so on here, but Hatton would've beaten Corrales, too much firepower. The WAY he beat Hatton was astonishing. I know Pac beat him earlier, but it was a different type of fight.
just add" this is about performance, not best win. best win was ODLH, people forget how undersized he was for a very decent version of the Golden Boy.
i agree with everything but im not so sure about hatton beating corales. he was a warrior and i also think he would have been too big for hatton.
I'd say Oscar DLH bcuz he moved up n weight n challenged Oscar at his comfortable weight. I'd say it was a better performance than PAC. Not a better result, but the 154 Oscar wasn't weight drained.
