Jeff must have had a tough time being brothers with Floyd and Roger.

Floyd Sr. was shot and did go to jail for drug trafficking. And I think every male BUT Jeff has had domestic violence trouble.

And yet Jeff has had the least decorated career.

Yes, but Jeff will be the only one who has a relationship with his kids by the time he is 60, and probably the only one who is not in legal trouble, bankrupt, beating the grandmother of his childred, etc.

That's true. And if I had a choice between a good boxing career and a good family, my wife and kids would win any day.

    Seriously, wtf?

It doesn't mean that having a junkie mum and seeing your father get shot are impossibilities in a comfortable lifestyle. Please people... you take the good with the bad. It aint like it was all smooth sailing for him just because he was reared up in a middle-class home.

and pleazzee... the **** do you all know what he went through? None of you even know him personally... man.... the hate is flowing.

Dont him and his uncle Jeff have issues? I mean I dont kno his childhood, but him and Floyd have problems I think so his word isnt 110% credible either. I thought his father was a drug dealer though?

I swear haters will find fault in anything PBF says.:-( He was talking about the tough times when he grew up and where he is today and he's accomplished a lot nothing he talks about is thuggish just real life **** a lot of people go through growing up. What's so wrong about a young black man being ambitious and wanting to own a casino and be a billionaire?

:patsch Yeah right. Like the **** you'd know.

Seriously... what's so hard to grasp about a middle-class boy growing up in a dysfunctional family?

it's not real though, he's talking out his arse.

think about this....how many kids growing up in the conditions he describes turn out the way he actually is? He acts like a spoilt brat and starts crying when Larry Merchant tells it like it is...something doesn't add up.

You don;t know what this man has been through. Funny how people like you give Hatton and others the benefit of the doubt but with someone like PBF you don't.

Growing up like PBF did is common where I'm from and I'm sure it's common where he's from as well. His father did sell drugs and was shot fact. His mother was a drug addict fact. Just look at how his family is now and you can't honestly tell me the man had the best up-bringing.
BTW since when did having feelings about someone disrespecting your hard life's work make you any less of a man?

SO lemme get this str8, say if Floyd grew up in a middle class society, where he lived your telling me that violence doesnt occur, his friend couldnt have gotten shot. His father did indeed get shot, he couldnt have witnessed that?
He couldnt have walked in 4 feet of snow to a boxing gym?
Wat are people really sayin, are these things impossible wat hes saying?:huh

there's an old saying that rings oh so true..

'he who has it don't go on about it'

How often does Mike Tyson talk about his genuinely hard childhood? Almost never.
James Toney? It wasn't poverty and hardship, as he happily acknowledges.
The difference is that Toney isn't a wanker and fake Mayweather is.
