An immensely talented fighter, who could have and should have done more, but did enough to be called a true ATG.

I didn't say unbeatable vs all of the ATGs at 130. But he would probably beat quite a few of them.

And De La Hoya fought only three times in his career at 130 or below and that was on 1994.

One of the best fighters of this generation, if not the best, who didn't achieve his MASSIVE potential.

:nono :nono his career from 130-135 is way overrated he didnt beat true great fighters at that weight, corrales was a good champ a solid fighter but he wasnt great, so was castillo and floyd lost to castillo the first fight,, from 140 up all he did was cherrypicking to the 10th power he avoided fights with ther top guys bc he was insecure about wheteher or not he could beat them and about how will he be percieved if he got beat,,, floyd himself had do0ubts about how good he was if not he will have fought top fighters,, he was scared of loosing he wasnt and will never be a well respected champ,, a great part of his career is a scam act

I actually voted for the last option... He was great and went after the best below 147 but unfortunately, he left a lot of questions unanswered at 147.

An Great who cleaned out a very competitive 130lbs division, a division I also feel he should be ranked top 5 and most of his greatness should be judged toward. He often was very picky in terms of who he fought but nonetheless took good enough risk that should give him the recognition he deserves (examples include fighting DLH at 154 and Hernandez in your 18th pro fight etc). One characteristic that boxing fans judge him on was his attitude outside of the ring. He often belittled other boxers, disrespected actual legends, and toward the end cared more about the finacial part of the game rather than the competitive part. Be that as it may all of those incidents happened outside of the ring and what we as boxing fans should judge is what a fighter did inside the ring and what floyd did inside of the ring can only be remembered as GREAT.

He fought "some" of the best so I think that option is a little unfair. I went for the cared more about money option as you can't really argue with that can you. However in my own words, I think he'll be remembered as one of the most talented and best H2H at 130/135 ever, but his resume just doesn't quite live up.

Yeah, Pimp C has that tendency when it comes to Mayweather.
But he likes him a lot, so I give him a break on this one. :D
