yes, vargas was never the same after tito. he was never 100% back to what he was prior to tito. following that beat down he lost some of him in that ring but wasn't shot ? a shot fighter cant compete at the level he competed at for a few years following that fight.

that was a bad beating, would had been much better for him if he was stopped in the first round because he would have been fine after. quick ko's aren't anything like prolonged beatings ending in that 12 round ko

are you seriously saying the low blows made vargas shot, wtf. it had nothing to do with the clean left hooks and straight right bombs pinging off his chin and head

It was a beating considering he was on his way to making Tito shot......before the lowblows Vargas was inflicting brutality on Tito.....like i've rarely seen before it was beautiful.....Yup cheating or not Tito ruined Vargas before he even got started he was only 22 yrs old...

The lowblows brought his gaurd down considerably to catch those left hooks clearly you cant say that didnt have a huge impact seeing that Vargas was ripping him apart before that....smfh

the first left hook trinidad fired made vargas knees crumble.
    :scaredas:
Vargas was definitely too brave that night.

Dangerous? He looked like a tamed puppy. He didn't even throw punches. A lot of fighters would have beat that canelo.

I agree, vargas made a hell of a comeback in that fight but he still took a severe beating which resulted in him leaving some of himself in the ring that night. too soon for tito
but neither fighter became shot from that fight. left some in the ring but shot, they both still competed at the top level following that fight

Your right it took some out of both of them....but it definitely sent Vargas down the foxhole quicker tho......the beating he took against Mosely nearly had me covering my eyes......
