Studying fighter patterns and coming up with plans to take advantage of these patterns Motivating his fighters Picking the right opponents at the right time Training fighters to have a back up plan(s) mid fight Teaching fighters to win rounds using smarts as in only having short periods of activity in a round but enough to win a round there are more areas where he is good, but i honestly think one of the reasons that he is so good is because he picks the right oppoents for his fighters, as well as the fact that he has strong people skills which not only motivate his fighter, but make them stronger metally going into a fight. He is a boxing oracle.
I agree 100% with the bold statement. Both of them are not good trainers. I like McGrit as a person, he is a good asset for the sport but he is a horrible trainer.
Every great trainer can break down a fighters weaknesses and strengths, Freddie Roach does that perfectly. Freddie lets his fighters be what they are, he just perfects them at what they do good. Very similar, fundamentally, to Manny Steward.
yep and he's good with combination punching and Ariza helps a lot with conditioning. He sucks at teaching inside fighting though
