Flaws, finding them and correcting them in fighters.(as well as exploiting them in opponents as he refers to them as "habits." He trains his fighters to use whatever their opponents "habitually" do to find holes in exploit. You can say loosely he is a master crafts men at tying up loose ends, and finding some.

....He trains the fighter to find their own style that fits their physique and capabilities, IE: JCC Jr before Roach tried to emulate his father's style, this was not possible as JCC Jr is too tall, and would get hit ALOT, even against tomato cans...... Roach helped find himself........ Also another thing about the Roach team is the lifestyle changes his fighters undergo under his tutelage (I misspelled that I know) Alot of guys try to cut weight last minute, so if can be argued (to a certain degree) that most boxers are drained when they fight. Roach and company circumvent this so the fighter is "naturally" at that weight for a longer duration. (Or close to it) Even if they still cut alot, they are able to fight "Healthier" (or more Rejuvinated) then alot of guys that are drained. (faster and stronger) This makes the difference that's just a few things....I wouldn't know other stuff as I am not in the gym with them
