What is going on with Broner & Maidana?

Broner will get no credit after he beats this guy. Like Floyd fights the opponents are world beaters and monsters before its signed. Then after its signed it was a cherry pick, then after the victory the guy was shot.

Yep after he destroys Maidana people will just say he proved nothing Maidana's a bum and Alexander and Khan already beat him despite these same people picked him to lose to Maidana in the first place:-(.

 

Personally i know Maidana isnt that good to begin with so i wont rate this high anyway. But the haters are gassing Maidana like he is like that. Maidana didnt even win a single round against Devon, hopefully te hype dies down after he loses to a lightweight.

 

Bigger than Broner I meant to say. But I think he's stronger than Maidana.

I just said that Maidana is a tough fight. Some people believe Maidana will beat Broner.

So how would it be considered a cherry pick?

Honestly, I don't think this is the best move for Broner to make. I would fight a lesser guy with size...I'm not sure who exactly, but if I was his team, I wouldn't have him jump in with Maidana right away.

How is it easy work when Broner can fight on the inside and goes to the body well where Maidana doesn't like it? How is it easy work when Broner is the better counter-puncher? How is it easy work when Broner has the better timing? How is it easy work when Broner has the better reflexes? How is it easy work when Broner will win most of the exchanges? How is it easy work when Broner will land the cleaner blows? How is it easy work when Broner has the better defesne? How is it easy work when Broner can outbox Maidana in the middle of the ring and Maidana can't do a thing about it? Paulie is a featherfisted -B level welter with a high profile and the only reason that he lost by SD / so close is because he can't punch with power !

Maidana can punch very hard and at this moment is a more polished fighter in terms of boxing skills, he isn't anymore that raw brawler with power.
He will catch Broner with something hard and clean and then we will see how Broner will react against someone who actually can punch. :yep

p.s and if Broner succeeds somehow to outclass Maidana and beat him convincingly I'll make a thread where I'll give Broner his props. :yep

 

The biggest problem here is that broner's defense is being overrated by his fans, he gets Lazy at times and literally just stands there and covers up without throwing anything back sometimes for 10-15 seconds. He does that vs Maidana and he could very well get F ucked up.

Maidana has to take his chances in this fight when he gets them, he will get tagged a lot from broner but hopefully Maidana can take broner's power. I'm not convinced by Broners power at 147 but if he can get maidana's respect or hurt him then he is favorite to win a UD,

If the opposite happens and Broner can't put a dent in him, then i feel Maidana stops Broner because of Broners lack of running and clinching (this is because i don't expect him to fight like Devon did vs Maidana but you never know i suppose),
