Why Are They Continuing This Catch Weight ****.... Since When Did Taking Advantage Of A Fighters Weight At A Place Where They Clearly Cant Compete At. What Part Of The Game Is This?

    How About These Matchups
    Pavlik At 147
    Paul Williams At 135
    Bhop At 150

This Is A Joke.. Either Fight at 147/140 or Do Not Fight at all

Why dont you complain about cotto/mosley/money wanting to fight a 130lb fighter first because thats where Pac was fighting just a year ago....whats wrong with trying to even the playing field a little because at 147 all those guys will be closer to 160 come fight night and Pac can barely make 147 as is...Now THAT is a joke

Think that's a bit unfair. Cotto/Mosley coming down 3 or 4lbs to 143/144lbs, when compared to Pavlik coming down 13lbs, Williams coming down 12lbs and Hopkins coming down 25lbs is totally different.

If Pacquiao fought Cotto/Mosley at 147lbs, then Mosley and Cotto are known for coming in on fight night at close to 160lbs. Pacquiao would likely be around 148lbs. Would a 12lb difference on fight night be fair?? Mosley and Cotto are the ones saying they'd do a catchweight to fight Pacquiao, because they want to fight him and they know there's good money in doing so. If they are willing to do this and Pacquiao accepts then fair enough. They can hardly tell him to fight them and move up to a weight where he'll be at a complete disadvantage.

I see your point. Mosley jumped two weight classes and legitimately defeated DLH so why can't PAC do the same?

You dont have a problem with Fraud fighting a guy two divisions bellow him but you take it personall when Pac asks someone to drop three pounds.

    GTFO with the double standards.

Dude its strategy this isnt the Sugar Ray/Duran era. Just imagine Duran trying to fight Hagler/Hearns at 159.5 catch weight lol

Expecting Mosley/Cotto to drop 3 or 4lbs isn't the same as Hopkins dropping 25lbs. It'd be more like him having to drop 5lbs, if I remember correctly despite dropping 5lbs he managed to do ok against Pavlik.

STFU? How old are you? If you think Pacquiao at 148lbs versus Mosley 160lbs would be fair then I don't know what else to say.

Im just saying... why do you want to fight people who are handicapped.... you might as well make it a clause in the contract that the fight should be at 147 but cotto can only use jabs ...
