Mosley said he wanted the winner of hatton-pacquiao after the margarito fight. Floyd wanted marquez then pacman when he announce his comeback. See it was them who challenge pacman. What all those mayweather fans always saying.. marquez challenge floyd so he should agree to his term. So if floyd -mosley wants pac then fight pac at a catchweight.

listen guys...i said it already...i get it...that its the cottos and mosleys who want a pac fight....but...you must remember...that is why pac moved up in the first place...to get fights with the likes of oscar, shane, hatton, cotto, etc.....he wasnt going to be making this kind of money fighting a bunch of a 130lb fighters....it was his intent all along...to a certain degree he needs cottos and mosleys just as much as they need him for a big money fight....the difference is pac has the options of fighting 3 or so different names...but he needs the division and the star power it

people say floyd is so deathly afraid of losing his "0"....yet it seems like pac and his people dont wanna risk the bank accounts and stardom against a legit 147lber....i bet floyd would have no problem fighting paul williams if paul would just lose 6 inches of height and 9 inches of reach...lol

It was Arum that spoke of them during the build up to Oscar..Which is the start of it all. But remember even before that there was talking coming from Team Pac about fighting Margo. there are building Pac as a guy that will fight anyone, but NOW its time to pay the pipper. They are putting these demands on the fighters(weight) knowing that one they would be unlikely to take them, or Two should they take them they will be weakened and for them hopfully weak like Oscar was. Im not buying. I hear clowns saying that Pac is the new Armstrong and that is bull****, Armstrong actaully fought guys at those weights, there were no catch weight bull****.

Im not saying that Pac has to move up and fight those guys, but what Im saying is when you call someone out you go to thier weight. Stop with all the catchweight crap. there are enough weight classes now.

Cotto has a much bigger frame (skeleton) than Pac. It's not all about how tall and how long the reach is. Tyson was 5ft 10 and was a heavyweight.

This makes more sense. Fight at 147. Put a cap on how much Cotto can pile on.

    Seems fair to me.

You say NATURAL weight division. Cotto/Mosely come in on fight night at 160. They're fighting at 147. It's pretty clear it's not their natural weight division.

145 vs 141, how is that 9 pounds? jmm even weigh 130 while pac just weigh 129 so officially, jmm outweigh pac by 1 pound in their last fight.

it's ironic for joyboys to say that they don't like catchweights when floyd himself is fighting jmm at a catchweight. :patsch

pacquiao & his team have been mentoining cotto not vice-versa so in that case if they want it so much they should go to 147 to make it happen

the matter of fact is that the two camps will negotiate. cotto is a grown man. i'm pretty sure he wont allow himself to fight at a catchweight that he knows he can't make. that's why fights are negotiated. if they don't agree, then the fight wont take place.

you are completely forgetting that cotto will not be forced to fight at a catchweight if he does not want to. people are seriously overdoing the fuss about pac fighting at welter against de la hoya. i know for a fact that given the chance to fight oscar, and fighter from 135 up would have jumped all the way to welter for that chance. and pac weighed 142 on that fight. he'll probable weight around 143-144 IF he agrees to fight at welter. Pac is not trying to gain the upperhand here. he is just trying to level the playing field because he is not a real welter. agreeing to fight at welter is basically giving cotto a three pound advantage.

so stop the bull**** and stop calling pac a sissy for wanting to fight at a catchweight. many fighters before him have fought at a catchweight. including kelly pavlik and many others.

again, COTTO WON'T AGREE TO FIGHT AT A WEIGHT HE KNOWS HE CANNOT REACH. let the two camps figure **** out. we should just wait and watch the match.
