    Where are all the fights?
Fury vs Usyk & Pulev vs Charr to round out the year… really?
And it’s been quiet for the last few months
Saudis slowed down the division, we aren’t getting the amount of non ppv fight night cards we used to.
Scroll through the top 200 heavies on boxrec and not much happening at all with anyone

Usyk V Fury is a great fight, best HW fight you can get. Also, there will be a big HW card featuring Dubois in February, an official announcement soon would be nice, especially as from the rumours a lot of exciting contenders will feature on that card.

CW title unification fight next weekend too.

AJ has gone into hiding it seems and is on track to keep fighting once a year which clearly hasn't helped his legacy and performances.

We are seeing a lot more fights and collabs though with Frank Warren moving to DAZN working with Hearn too. If you think its bad ATM for making fights, you should experience 5-10 years ago.

Yes, unfortunately, Saudi involvement has been a curse and a blessing. Yes they gave us some big nights early on. But it's seems all the top fighters are being expected to fit around the Saudi big fight schedule and matchmaking. It used to be the champions who only fought once every 6 months or so, now it seems those top contenders vying for position on the undercards are becoming equally (in)active.

Maybe it's also because a lot of the big players in the divisions are getting too old to fight regularly. Not that many of them ever did when they were younger

    It's a sad division.

Slow, overweight guys, who are gassed after 6 rounds.

Usyk is great, but very very inactive - It will be his first year since move up to HW, that he fights two times.

Kabayel, Bakole and others are giving me hope, but still... not active enough.

This happens every year. Boxing slows down around November-January.

This has been a great year for HW boxing, and the big show is yet to come in December.

    We've had.....

    Wilder vs Zhang
    Joshua vs Dubois
    Dubois vs Hrgovic
    Fury vs Usyk 1
    Bakole vs Anderson
    Chisora vs Joyce
    Parker vs Zhang
    Kayabel vs Sanchez

And now we have Fury vs Usyk 2 for all the marbles at the end of the year its been a great year for Heavyweights so i'm not sure why you're disappointed.

The only annoying aspect is that Parker hasn't been able to build on his two big wins and has been frozen out since and Kabayel has yet to get a big fight himself.

I guess the issue is Zhang (2 big fights - 3 months apart at 40+) demonstrates these heavyweights can be far more active.

Parker last fought in March nothing scheduled
Kabayel and Sanchez last fought in May nothing scheduled
Usyk and Fury last fought in May (edit: my mistake, I keep forgetting that fight was delayed multiple times)
Wilder, Zhang, and Hrgovic last fought in June nothing scheduled

We had a world title fight, Dubois v Joshua, and no heavyweights on the undercard.

    Usyk v Fury 2:
    • Moses Itauma vs Demsey McKean
    • Johnny Fisher vs Dave Allen

Boxing fans deserve one big fight at HW division every month.

We have a lot of boxers for that. at least to be the co-main event.

Parker should be fighting this year.

This has been the best series of matchmaking we've had in the division for literally decades.

Give us Fury v AJ on the undercard of Usyk v Dubois 2 next plz.

We've also got Fisher v Allen coming up.

    We are being spoiled.

    Bosh.

I suspect many heavyweights are letting the end of the year pass in hopes of replacing Usyk and especially Fury.
