I think you're the one digressing from the original argument.

I said he was the man at 140. You said he wasn't. The winner of #1 vs #2 makes you the man at the weight, Andre Ward was the man at 168 regardless of Bute. Khan was close, he was #3, and the matchup was worth watching, but that was NOT the argument.

If we're going to list attributes like ****ing Pokemon trading cards, why even bother making fights. Let's see it happen.

Bradley does some things well in the ring and may be everything you say he is. With all of the supposed dimensions he has, though, he has never put it all together and impressively dominated anyone. To me, he just seems like a solid, workmanlike fighter.

Fast, but was much slower than Manny Pacquiao. Good boxer, but is ALWAYS, ALWAYS wide with his punches (Pac countered him silly). Strong on the inside, but not much of a puncher. Comes forward, but doesn't let his hands go as much as you might think.

If he was on the level that you say he is, he just does not get dropped TWICE by the likes of Holt, even if he does hit damn hard; he adjusts immediately and negates his strengths. He does not get schooled by a disinterested Pacquiao; he at least looks like he belongs in the ring with him.

Also, he does not turn down a fight with Amir Khan with no other lucrative options available at the time.

He didn't lose a round to Peterson and outfought him in every area. In between the knockdowns, he dominated Holt. Had the bigger man on the back foot taking some very good body shots. It was a great performance.

He wasn't much slower. It was about even. Bradley's combinations just were sloppier. His single shots were very fast. Bradley is a very active fighter. Check the Peterson and Holt fights. both on the back foot and coming forward.

Roy Jones dropped against Lou De Valle. Hopkins dropped against Mercado...Hell Pac was KO'd against bums...Things happen. He got up from both shots in a fight he absolutely dominated.
He should have fought Khan, but got two huge pay raises 1M vs Casamayor and a huge payday 5M for Pac. In hindsight a good decision, but it was a fight that should have happened.

We'll see what happens as Bradley continues to fight. I'm certainly not sold on him. He hasn't done anything exceptional yet. He was accumulating a great resume at 140 then... the Khan saga (duck) happened and Bradley fell off the Earth for awhile. He reemerges to beat up an old man and then look out of place against a highly overrated Pacquiao. Now he's taken another long extensive break...

Let's see what happens with the Brook fight. But I'm definitely not sold on Bradley yet
