Its an alright fight. Rios will bring it but ultimately its a fight to make Kell look good.

I think the terms are already agreed with Top Rank for a summer shown with Brook, providing he comes through the Frankie Gavin fight with no issues.

I'm not sure it will be at Bramall Lane tbh with it being so close to the start of the football season. Also I was at Brook's homecoming fight against Jo Jo Dan and there was several hundred empty seats. I could see Brook v Rios selling out Sheffield Arena (11k capacity) fairly quickly but not sure he does enough tickets to sell out a 30k plus football stadium.

Might as well put him on a 'Wembley' card.

I think they would sell out Bramall lane quite easily to be honest. 11K is not enough for what they are planning to do and I would be shocked if it doesn't happen at Bramall lane.

No, he's not. Rios doesn't possess any foot speed to close the distance, doesn't cut the ring off well, doesn't have any outside game, and doesn't have any defense. His only hope against Brook would be an off night by Brook where Brook gasses a la the first Carson Jones fight after hitting Rios with the kitchen sink in the 1st half of the fight.

Either way I will probably end up going. Being a Sheffield Wednesday fan it will be strange cheering on a Blade at Bramall Lane. :think

Brook isn't as good as people are making out though. He'd struggle with the pressure of Rios. And i disagree, i think Rios beats a very limited Porter handily.

Rios is definitely no gimme. His only two losses were to Pacman and Alvarado (which was avenged in 3 rounds).

He's tough as old boots thats for sure. If he can drag Kell into a war then who knows? Bradley imo beats Kell though

And yet as late as today ,Rios claims Hearn has not given a firm offer to fight Brook this summer.Rios is negotiating now for a fight with Bradley for June in New York City.
Somebody is bull sh itting here.Hearn or Rios?

I think Brook might struggle if he gases Brook looks best against Mid to long range fighters when he punched V porter he looked class but to often want to hold or cover up...

I think size might come into it and Brook is the bigger guy and Rios while tuff wont close the gap as quickly as Porter

Two losses officially, but Rios clearly lost to Abril, a light puncher, while Diego Chavez was winning until Vic Draculich made a hasty call with the d/q. Alvarado shouldn't have been allowed to go in for the 3rd fight.Rios should train harder, get rid of the loose flesh and become a welcome addition to the light - welters.
