What is it with Cuban Fighters Struggling to get Fights???

    They clearly lack drawing power due to there being a very small Cuban population in the US. Most Hispanics in the US are from Mexican or Puerti Rican descent which is why they can draw more and therefore can secure fights more easily.

    - Fanbase is garbage, they yell and scream online yet never buy tickets

    - Mostly they are foooking boring

    I feel like this thread lasted way longer than it needed to...

    Cubans are extremely skilled, extremely talented fighters without fan bases... High risk, low reward...

    In this fragile era of boxing where one loss and the world throws u under a bus and labels u a bum, the last thing u want to do as an up and coming PPV star is fight and lose to a Cuban fight nobody has heard of

    GGG has a better riskier option in moving up to SMW to fight Chavez Jr., why the hell would he settle for Lara who isn't even a 160lber?.

    Alvarez clearly can't make 154 anymore and is most likely moving up to 160 to fight the winner of Martinez/Cotto which is a far better and bigger fight than Lara.
