What is it with HBO and Margarito??

    Thats the second Cintron fight where HBO have gone out of their way to mention the Margarito "issue" every 5 minutes.

    Cintron shot down Kellermans leading question in the post fight interview though!!

    Cintron's only 2 losses are to Margarito, so it was relevant.

    Seems that way to me. It was the same during the Martinez fight, fair enough its relevant but they were really over doing it during both fights IMHO.

    You think thats bad, wait until the Clottey/Cotto fight, considering both fighters were victims of Margarito.

    I agree!!! AS IF margacheato is something! Dang it I hope they bring back margacheato to get knocked into next week by Cotto and Cintron!

    They're trying to build Cintron up, and that's the only angle they can come from to try to excuse those two wretched losses. If they keep saying the losses are "invalid" enough times, maybe people will believe it, and they'll forget that Cintron is really an overhyped *****.


    Meanwhile, I'm waiting to see when Cintron will rematch Martinez.

    Don't think that will happen.....Martinez kicked his ass and Cintron is well aware of it after watching the tapes.

    Controversy sells and I get the feeling HBO is trying to squeeze every ounce out of the Margarito debacle.

    Did anyone notice the announcement for a special on the controversial
    Resto/Collins fight? What are the odds of HBO dragging Margarito's name into this:think

    Don't be surprised if they keep Margo's name in circulation until he comes back and then sign him to a multiple fight contract:deal
