What is it with people getting so offended by trash talk?

I don't like when they lie but hey maybe that's just me. The entertainment should be in the ring not outside it. The thing about for example Muhammad Ali was he mad witty trash talk, funny mildly offending but then he ALWAYS backed it up and that's why people like him.

 

Why do you care what people are offended by? Some enjoy it and others don't.
You got so emotional over people shitting on broner that you decided to type out a little essay...

 

I dislike trash talk as well. It's cheap, and is usually a smokescreen for insecurity.


That being said, do you not see the irony in your own post?

 

I do , Haye is on his own.

 

No problem with trash talking in the ring and inside the promotion leading up to fight. No problem with someone boasting about their confidence in beating the other guy.

There is trash talking and then there is outright offensive profanity lace vulgar language that gets old quick.

Trash talking has been in boxing forever so it doesn't bother me but there are some lines you don't cross.

 

I don't mind trash talking its just overhyped guys like Broner who don't shut the **** up that annoy me

 

There is nothing wrong with trash talking, trash talk your opponet & give him props after the fight.

Broner is on another level though, he still trash talks his opponets when its done (example paulie) think he went to far when he got Paulies ex involved.

 

It usually just creates negative energy but sometimes, like that coffin Stevens set up..
Definitely good for the promotion and hardly anyone really offended, I guess.

people nowadays think every fighter has to be a goodie goodie like pacquiao. In diversity comes the fun. I wouldn't want all boxers to be good boys or Pro's pro. it would be boring
