What is it with people getting so offended by trash talk?

I know Ray, I know. Seriously, I know.

Your feelings may not reflect the original post, but it is still ironic that you were talking trash in a post specifically aimed at criticizing trash talking.

As with all trash talking, often things are said that aren't meant.

Pretty much this. Guys like Broner, Fury, Garcia's dad thrash talk just because they think that's what they should do but there is nothing of any substance or intelligence behind it.

Here's how it should be done with a bit of fun and tongue firmly in cheek.

I don't get it neither. Growing up, playing sports, trash talk was part of the game. Sportsmanship came after the game was over win or loss. Trash talking is colorful confidence and often motivates. Sometimes you can't back it up. That's just reality. I'll trash talk even when I'm losing!

An example of dull people running sports is the NFL. There is no more showboating, celebrations, taunting. Testorene-less men are in the front office basically. Men are andrenaline junkies. To take away showboating and trash talking neuters competitiveness.
