Tough punch bag. His big attributes were being massive with good output.
Off the gear the output isn't there he's tough Dubois hit him with the Kittchen sink and he could have probably taken it for a bit longer (the stoppage was fine, but he didn't hit the deck or wasn't on wobbly legs).
Ruiz is a part time fighter now, i imagine someone in the last chance saloon like Whyte might give him a pay day. The reality is he's not going to threaten the top dogs much.

Perfect opponent for someone like Itauma.

I think Jared Anderson pretty clearly holds that title at this point. At 25 hes still got time to get better and hes closer to that top level.

Can see Miller getting a fun undercard fight on paper on one of Turki's shows fairly soon.

Would love to see him fight Chisora or Whyte still. Build-up will be a lot of fun.

He does not have too many fights left considering his age at 36 and obviously his stained reputation with doping. I think he is a game fighter who comes to fight but has his limitations. His level IMO is a strong gatekeeper.

Maybe fight a good prospect like Torrez, Wardley or Itauma? Say what you want about him but the guy is tough.

He won't become champ, but he can be in a lot of entertaining fights and do well at a decent level. He convincingly beat Ruiz on my card.

Hopefully they rebook the Chisora fight, that would've been a banger.

Fringe contender, at least for 2-3 more years. There's no doubt in my mind he can beat some top 11-20 guys, and give the lower tier top 10 some decent fights. He's not what he was without the gamma radiation but he's still a tank, fairly durable and throws varieties of punches.

He's American and has a recognised name. He will take most HWs rounds. He looks big and talks a lot.

He's a solid B side until he loses too many in a row. Probably has two years to cash out.

He should make the most of the next 18 months.

Fringe contender to gate keeper. Although winning a random belt is not out of the question.

Jarrell Miller's future in the heavyweight division is about the same as his future in the salad aisle...

    Fleeting, low-key, barely worth mentioning.

He's got a big mouth on him, and can be entertaining at times, but no wins that make him particularly relevant... In that sense, he's about as qualified as anyone else to carry the flag for the US over the past decade ;)

Having said that, obvious limitations aside, he's durable and a decent test for up and coming fighters - he never was (nor ever will be) anything more than a mediocre gatekeeper.

I agree with half of that....

He's young, if he makes good fights and learns he'll improve (see Dubois)... The big question is whether he will?

But closer to the top level?
Miller's a durable gatekeeper - Anderson lost to the only one of those he faced... Right now, I don't think Anderson should be seen as anything other than a prospect, and one who might well miss the mark by further even than the Miller's of the sport

His fight with my man Lucas Browne was entertaining but I can't help but think if Browne was a few years younger he probably would've won.
