A filipino-american kid with terminal illness wants to see his idol and Pac obliged.

Then the Kid asked if he will fight Mayweather and Pac said "I lost my urge." - true story.

I didn't enjoy watching Ruiz, but he had balls and is underrated in my opinion. He had a very sneaky right hand and would fight anyone. Always seemed like a nice guy too.

Thats funny as, john "the pimp man" ruiz haha then he hugs you to death with his shirt off.

Serious though he was a hard man that fought some good fighters with more then better results then you would think, plus he was the creater of the lotso huggy bear style of boxing n faking low blows we all saw the thunder fight.

You downplay the extent and degree of Ruiz's holding greatly. Ruiz's nearly constant holding - in fights where he was overmatched, which was against any opponent above the journeyman level - was "excessive" by any reasonable definition, and therefore against the rules.

Not only did he do it more than guys like Ali, Hopkins or Wlad, for example, he did it for a different reason. Those fighters - who had some actual boxing ability, obviously - use(d) holding to SUPPLEMENT their skills. Ruiz used it as a REPLACEMENT for them, because he basically had no real boxing ability to be competitive at the world class level. And his connection with King alllowed him to get away with it.

That's cheating and corruption, and it's what makes Ruiz the disgraceful FRAUD he is. Without King, he would have been known as another regional journeyman who got knocked out by Tua, and that's it.

i didn't think much of ruiz when he was coming up..the fights with holyfield were absolute stinkers..i forgot which of the three fights it was but i remember holyfield landing a legit body shot that dropped him..it should have been a KO instead ruiz hammed it up like it was a lowblow and thats what it got called...that was :bart..but what made me hate him as a fighter was the kirk johnson fight...to this day that DQ was bull****...then he began stinking out the joints with his fight with his jab and million clinches..he did go out like a fighter when haye beat the crap out of him..but overall his career to me is thumbs down
