Does anyone know? Will he still have to cut to get to middleweight or will he have to work his way up? I'm guessing he walks around at 175 but what does he enter the ring at?
Remember seeing him a while back as a pundit on fight night international and he looked extremely podgy. Dunno if this is typical for him.
I don't think he will either m8. Main issue with his own weight will be the fact of it goes late how his stamina will stand up with extra weight. Regarding his weight I heard in past he walks around 175ib but at one pint was about 14st but that's not the norm and he's been keeping weight between camps down compared to pre Carson Jones 2.
Yeah this the thing, it's like Cleverly he looked sensational on the scales at Cruiserweight but he had the cardio of a pub drunk. I bulked up with weights in 2014 and looked alot better in clothes but my cardio became terrible.
Brook's walk around weight is probably upwards of 180 but you can't gauge his natural weight properly because a lot of that is fat. Brook should come in at 165 max on fight night, he needs to move a lot in this fight if he stands a chance (which he doesn't in reality).
In terms of size I don't think Brook will look small at middleweight, however he's not used to taking middleweight punches, he's not even fought a puncher at welter.
It's a shame he didn't test the water at 154 first. It could have made a GGG fight actually look like a viable option rather than what it does now.
In fairness I don't think kell was actively looking for this fight, it was option that landed on his lap and was the most lucrative with the Vargas situation dragging itself out like it did
Kell could be sitting very pretty. GGG Canelo Khan These are all genuine possibilities for him in the next 18 months or so.
