What is Khan and Brook’s obsession with fighting tin pot mentally weak Canadian bums?

Khan’s rumoured next opponent Samuel Vargas is going to be announced on Thursday. Kell has already got his next opponent lined up, Brandon Cook.

Two tin pot Canadians with no chance of winning.

    Kevin Bizier
Jo Jo Dan (Romanian but fights out of Canada)
    Phil Lo Greco
Samuel Vargas (Colombian but fights out of Canada)
    Brandon Cook

Pathetic from both fighters. Eddie Hearn is a complete disgrace.

Jo Jo and Bizier were IBF mandatories.
Lo Greco was a decent tuneup. Khan needed it.
I have nothing to say about Vargas and Cook. Khan and Brook should be facing each other or take a step up in competition.

This thread is completely nitpicking to fit an agenda. Do some research before hand.

Brook fought Dan, Gavin and then Bizier. Two IBF mandatories within 12 months when the rules stipulate that the champion must take care of mandatories within a 9 month interval at most. Sandwiches in between those two bum fights he boxed a fat lightweight in Gavin.

Completely inexusable even if you are a batty boi Brook fanboy.

Oh i absolutely agree. Brook had an extremely weak run there.
After Brook took the IBF belt from Porer, his dumbass went and got stabbed. Then came up Jo Jo dan as a mandatory. Gavin was just a quick turnaround fight to stay busy and to finally stay active. (Gavin was two months after Jo Jo, thats pretty fast)
Next up there were negotiations with Brandon Rios, which fell through. Brook was then scheduled to fight Diego Chavez, before Brook had to pull out due to a rib injury. That would have been Brooks 3rd fight in 8 months and this time against a good opponent. (Be it Rios or Chavez)
And again came another weak IBF mandatory.

This wasn't Brook choosing to stay inactive and fight weak opponents. It´s just the way everything lined up, disappointingly so.

And from my understanding, Brook and Khan are taking on weak opponents again to keep rebuilding and to hype up their own fight. If Brook and Khan actually fight next, im fine with it.

People need to do more research.

This. Brook had a ton of potential as the IBF champ and completely wasted it. Fighting Vargas would've been a good stepping stone fight to the Spence fight rather than coming off being destroyed by GGG. The $5 million he got against GGG came at the expense of flushing the rest of his career down the toilet. He hasn't been the same fighter since the GGG fight.

It is a bit weak really but in their defence everybody was happy for both of them to take a tune up fight, Neither fight lasted more than a couple of rounds. These fights may as well be still classed as their tune up fights.

The annoying thing about the Khan comeback fight was the article with Hearn giving all these decent names for Khan to fight(cant remember these names but they were better than Phil lo) and khan even mumbled about a Prescott 2, near sure he mumbled about a Peterson 2 aswell.

And then we get this Phil lo Greco guy who had been posting stuff about wanting to fight Khan on twitter with pics and stuff, nobody had heard of the guy unless you noticed Spence fought him yonks back. It almost has a set up type feel about it really. Like even Prescott who has tons of losses now would have been a better fight, and he would take that fight cause he's a real fighter, we know this lol.

Also lo Greco looked about 5 foot 5, didn't look like he could crack an egg and hadn't fought in ages.
