What is Kovalev's style?

I was rewatching glass jawed Sillakh get pasted again by Papin earlier. Poor guy has been on the receiving end of some truly brutal KOs!

Back in the good ol' days ... very aggressive rangy boxer krusher (before being declawed by McDirt).

Now he's a confused mess who doesn't seem to have the endurance and defensive style to safely point fight for twelve rounds and doesn't ward people off with huge shots or the threat of them. Hopefully if he comes back he just goes for the kill, especially if he moves to cruiser where he'll be in huge trouble boxing safe because his engine will be even worse there, as Cleverly found out for himself after packing on bulk.

 

I'd call his style "getting KTFO'd"

Technical boxer-puncher with a more aggressive approach. Great jab and excellent power, not much inside work. Great use of measuring distance, making him hard to outbox although his defense does have holes.
Sadly he's been on the downward spiral since losing to Ward and has went from being the Krusher to just being Krush'd.
