Step up to one of the MANY challenges at 140-147?

Sit around and fight another mediocre fighter after a Pac fight like usual?

Sit around and try to fight Pacquiao again?

    Retire.

Saying anything about Marquez is blasphemy, but this guy has had an inflated P4P status for some time. Who other than Pacquiao has been a LEGITIMATE elite threat in recent years? Marquez is almost 40 and he needs to prove that he's deserving of P4P #3 against someone BESIDES Pac.

In all likelihood he will fight some non threat when he is finally forced to, wait around a bit after that, retire.

If he fights again, depend if he's dumb or not. It's all the same job at the end of the day, does he want a 20mills payday, or a 2-3mills payday.

Marquez basically hit a grand slam to win the world series. His legacy is solidified. If he does fight again I'm assuming he'll fight Pac once more for the biggest payday of his career. Win or lose it won't mean much but if anyone deserves a shitload of money it's JMM. He should retire but if he wants one more fight it should be Bradley or Garcia because I honestly don't give a **** about any fighter's bank account; I just want my favorite fighters to expand on their legacy.

He should retire. He is getting older, and he isn't that big. While he could beat some of the guys, he wouldn't beat others. Arum insists there will be another Pac fight. If I was Marquez, I was say not unless I get the cut that Pac got from the last fight.

    In all honesty...
    Fight Bradley for legacy win/lose.
(Then rematch Pac for the payday)
^Easy makes... But Arum is a ****stick

Fight Pacquiao a fifth time or rematch Mayweather then retire. This is a no-brainer...

Unlike Floyd and Pac some people value legacy over money.

Pac turned down $40 mil and went on to fight and LOSE to JMM for $26 mil. He must be real dumb, according to the way you perceive things.

Sad to say this but it's the first time in Marquez' entire career where he could make the serious money he always wanted. Surely he will fight a good opponent(Hopefully Bradley) next followed by Manny Pacquiao 5 and retire.

Shame on Marquez for respecting his wife, he should allow Bob Arum to tell him what to do and when to do it all the way, right?

Come on Slyk.Everyone knows that he performs so well at 140 because he was put on this earth to be Pacquaio's boogeyman, and because he was a natural featherweight, there are far inferior fighters who would give him problems just because of the size issue.
Like my learned friend Hatesrats so eloquently put it,he can do whatever the **** he wants....and deservedly so.

Rios would be a good opponent to bow out against.

Well past his best weight and physical peak, anything he decides to do from this point on is a gift.

JMM won one lost two and drew one. He can do whatever he likes but in the count of 4 he is losing.
