Hands down Miguel Cotto. Canelo was a damn cake walk / sparring session for Floyd.

Alvarez. I know he hasn't done much after, he had a questionable decision over Lara. But that was about it lol.

Everyone else there seems to have done nothing since fighting Mayweather but stink. Anyone thinking Cotto, doesn't realize that since his win over Clottey in 2009. (Where he squeaked by a guy with a foot injury) he hasnt won a signifcant fight.

    2009 - Lost to Pac
2010 -beats a guy with knee injury, (Yuri foreman, not a great win to begin with).
2011 - Beats Mayorga. WAY PAST IT. Beats Margarito, a guy with one eye. The NYSAC almost didnt let the fight take place. But the $$$ talked to em.

2012 - Mayweather Loss. Trout Loss. Both clear cut losses.
2013 - Beats delvin rodriguez, someone who was clearly there as a record padder
2014 - Beats another guy with a knee injury Martinez....

THis guy has done NOTHING. Absolutely NOTHING since beating Clotty in 2009. He has done nothing to show he is at elite level. Don't get me wrong, I thought a lot of Cotto back in early 2010, but for 5 years now the guy has done nothing to prove he is elite.

in 2006/2007 cotto was fighting much better opposition. However the guy has done nothing since then to prove he is elite. I don't rank him in the top 10 in ANY division until he gets a solid win.

Also if he does indeed fight Bundrage as many rumors indicate, and wins, that will be his best win in SIX YEARS LOL.

You are only saying that since it was a close fight, beating Canelo is still more impressive because he is a guy fighting live bodies, and sometimes winning... Although some of the decisions were close and questionable, Cotto wouldn't have stood a chance against Lara. And we already know what happened with Trout....

Point is the only reason people think Cotto is any good on here is because he didn't get completely **** on by Mayweather.

How about you actually comment on the fights with Mayweather? Canelo never got off, May used his usual style. Against Cotto, he put himself out there alot more for a war, and still won. Regardless of skill, Cotto was the best win for Mayweather of his last 6.

Well the only other person who is up there on Cotto's level is Canelo and that was at a catch weight.

Alvarez may be his best win period. I think it goes right after De La Hoya and before Mosley, Cotto, Corrales, Hatton, or Castillo.
