    Undefeated
    Never been Floored
    Never been punished
    Made $hundreds of millions

the career has gone as perfect as one could want, now at the age of 36 why risk being carried out on a stretcher put a Loss on your record.
    Possible reasons

    1. Floyds love of money may be his downfall as long as their is $50 million on the table for a fight I think he will even continue past his 6 fight deal.

    2. Staying in the limelight, Floyd likes being centre of attention and craves the media attention, while other similar stars like Broner coming through, Mayweather's ego isn't quite prepared to hand over the torch.

I think deep down inside its simple. I think boxing is like his sanctuary or some ****. He has ventured into other things but boxing is all he knows and as long as he feels he is still at a high level he will fight. I don't see him fighting past these 6 if he does all 6 at all. As soon as he feels he is not at the level he needs to be he will walk away and just promote. He doesn't want to give the haters that L on his record.

He's in a win win situation now. With the demise of Pacquiao the level of competition around his weight class is very poor compared to the standards of a few years ago. An example of this is the fact that it takes only a victory over Andre Berto to be considered a worthy challenger. No disrespect to Andre Berto, but really? Andre Berto? There really isnt a single threat you can see emerging and because of this Mayweather has the freedom to roam beyond his peak years and continue making easy money. His critics that are waiting for him to age to be taken advantage of by someone younger are in for disappointment. What he's looking to do now is similar to what Hopkins has been doing with Pavlik, Pascal and now Cloud. Using the existence of poor competition to delay the clock.

Money. I am surprised he is fighting this long though 36 is ancient for an inactive boxer

    This.

How a man can earn what he has and does, yet still be broke, is baffling.

    Bull****.

$50 million would last MOST PEOPLE ten lifetimes over. Floyd will go through that like nothing.
