    I think he's an A fighter, but he's still great
    I always assumed you thought Floyd was terrible and a c class fighter

    The Barrera fight was probably his best win against a top p4p fighter, but I think he was still green and didn’t look at well polished as his fights against prime Hatton, Cotto and Margarito. When Pacquiao beat Barrera, it was surprising, but it didn’t feel out of the realm of possibility. Once he beat Hatton, Cotto and Margarito, it was just so other worldly and just so bad ass that I have to rate those wins higher for me personally.

    Yup. It really was a perfect storm of having an atg level fighter, and actually having atg level of ambition, having the opponents necessary to carve out an atg career.

    Pretty amazing.


    Little did I know how spoiled I was in those days as a boxing fan. Not just with pac but the entire boxing landscape at the times.
