What is Parker doing wrong?

    I think he'd beat Joyce in a rematch but it may have more to do with Joyce's diminished punch resistance than any improvements Parker has made. Like I said, Parker keeps getting trapped by these guys and touched up.

    Absolutely, squire. It's very unbecoming of a Brit to boast. The fact that this tiny majestic isle is the spiritual and ancestral home of boxing, is the epicenter of world boxing, and produces the fiercest, toughest most iron-jawed warriors in the world is already common knowledge and it speaks for itself.

    Parker's doing great and not enough is being made of it which is disappointing.

    But the Joyce fight unless like you say the chins not as resistant anymore will always be a bad fight for him cus Joyce will slowly grind him down again and unless he can make a dent I don't see it being any different.

    I think those are legit good/bad-stylistic-match-up bouts.

    Parker>Zhang
    Zhang>Joyce
    Joyce>Parker

    Mind you Parker did get dropped twice and a rematch is being talked about. I'd take a Parker Zhang rematch over the other bouts any day. I'd like to see Parker repeat the performance sans being put on his arse.

    Of course it must be asked- did Zhang take it seriously, did he train properly and did he get old overnight, whatever that means.

    This question is hilarious because he's back to back punched the two best wins of his career and quite honestly 2 of the best wins of any HW in the last 5 years...................pontificating that he's doing something wrong is bananas

    Pontificating that he's doing nothing wrong while going down twice against Zhang is what's bananas. Of course he's making mistakes I'm just looking for opinions as to what he's doing wrong and how he can improve. I am a fan of Parkers, not a hater.

    So true. Nothing toughens up a nation like fighting with your brother over who gets to diddle the pretty cousin. Inbreeding works wonders, just look at pit bulls. That's just good science.
