while the debate goes on and goes on on who is responsible for the fight not happening between pacquiao and mayweather it would seem to me that once again mayweather will miss the opportunity to take a big risk this guy has obvioulsy incredible talent but i question his heart and his spirit u need more than talent to be a great one - u need classic fights (cant find any in mayweathers pedigree) and un need big heart/spirit which mayweather hasNt got mayweathers accomplishments are pathetic lately in terms of opposition (his only world class opponents in his last fights were de la hoya which he hardly beat in boring fight and marquez (but the difference of weight in the ring was embarassing) and also in terms of excitement when u look at all time greats fighter in boxing history u always find people With legendary fights / clasic wars and people with big heart do any of u see that in mayweather ? i often watch again and again great fights but has never been tempted to watch again a single fight involving mayweather - so for me very talanted but definitely will never be an all time great because of him never taking risks and lacking greater accomplishments what do u think (pls also excuse my english but am french)
in terms of everything accomplishment/achievement, competition, and skill set, hes got 2/3 down accomplishment, he has won the most recognized of the title trinkets the wbc belt n 5 divisions, pretty impressive, and he has a phenominal all time great defense and punch accuracy, however he certainly hasnt fought the best comp since he moved to light welter, but at 130 and 135, his competition was top notch, but we are about what have you done for me latey, and he has certainly blown some oppurtunitys, but this pac fight is definately not his fault, in conclusion i woud say hes def not a top 20 atg as of now, but would say he is between 30 and 35 on the list, which s respectable, but a lot of you fools need to realize boxing isnt about hitting ad being hit in a savage blood bath, its not a battle of machismo, if it was there would be no rules, its about hitting and not being hit, and statistically, since compu box has been involved nobody does that better than mayweather of the last 20 or so years, so that certainly is something special no matter who you are fighting.
self-ownage! there's an old saying that goes "less talk, less mistakes". this perfectly applies to floyd.
