Wow,really?that's....outof the ordinary. Interesting fellow. Noticed he had the Jamaican flag on his trunks so he must have heritage.Makes him more interesting.:good
He can't punch with power BECAUSE of the bad technique though. If he started training full time and learned how to turn his body into his punches instead of throwing arm punches, he could have more power. Dunne would easily outbox him, but even then, he might get KOed. I love Dunne, but the man has a glass chin, which is a bad attribute to have for someone who likes turning fights into wars.
toatally disagree there, Munroe is a level higher than Dunne, he would outbox him, hes not a mega hitter but is quite a crafty fighter imo
His potential is not great I suspect. I feel he's pretty close to maximum, he's been stretched a few times by Martinez in the rematch and Maludrottu. These were pretty close fights (especially in the second instance) and good wins. So that would suggest his potential at world level is limited because Maludrottu came up short at world level and Martinez is not world class by any means. His main problem is he has no punch accuracy or punch technique. You see a lot of Joe Calzaghe flurries from him but without the speed or overall skill of Calzaghe to be truthful. He's sort of a jack of all trades master of none, he can box okay, he's probably better when he just relies on volume, he's very big for the weight and varies his punches to head and body. But he's not really top class in any department.
no he will never change his technique i dont think in all his fights i have scene i have seen no improvment whatsoever he just pushes people onto the ropes and has little ptter patter punches i have never scene him hurt anyone yet and when martinez was ready to go in the second fight due to tiredness he still couldnt put him away when he was there for the taking
I love Rendell, he is a really honest good guy. However, I think he is at in and around his level at the moment. I think when he goes for world honors he maybe be able to lay his hands on a title if in the right circumstances, but if this happens he will only get a few defenses in. After this, I think he will end back at European level, and be one of the better fighters. So for me he is what I would call a B level fighter. Which is no shame at all, as I wish I could be a B level fighter.
he is very good, but has a habit of neglecting his polished boxing for a more workhorse style of fighting... not got a huge dig... he might struggle when he steps up in class if he doesnt sort out a new trainer
He's a real working class hero. He does everything the hard way. It would be a phenomenal achievement if he were to pick up a world title. He's a big overachiever.
yepp ill agree with you there, id love to see him pick up a belt, but at the same time i cant see him beig a world beater
