Same as last time. Only boxing/moving a bit more and stay out of the way from that pavlik right.

I don't think he or his people are long-sighted to a degree and they don't have any battle plan built around Kelly Pavlik's flaws. Taylor will come once again tryin to set him up with a left lead, loading up on him with rights over his left shoulder and finishing up with a left hook... I just expect him to tie him up inside a whole lot more and to move more to his left side to avoid KP's right hands. JT can't dictate the pace from the onset so that he doesn't burn all his energy like against BHop, and he can't roll, slip or move underneath punches so he has to break the action more and save his engine into the Championship rounds.

Use his jab and try to stay off the ropes.... A nice combo here and there wont hurt either..I see this as a 50/50 fight much like the last time

His conditioning is the $64,000 question...Will he have the stamina to stick and move for 12 rounds, using his jab to keep Kelly at bay

To me Taylor's only problem was that he ran out of gas after the second round. I strongly believe he has a mental problem similar to Tommy Morrison, where he gets extremely fatigued. If thats the case again in this fight, he will most likely get stopped again.
It will be up to Pavlik to realize this and keep a tremendous amount of pressure on Taylor to make him fight and run out of gas. Pavlik only has to be very cautious defensively in the early part of the fight, and then he can get a little more reckless as the fight progresses and Taylor gets tired.
If Pavlik sits back and lets Taylor fight a slower paced fight, Jermain has a really good chance of winning by decision.

Jermaine was gassed because he was trying to kill Pavlik with every punch he threw. Nobody, nobody could with-stand that. He loaded up on every punch. When he feels those power shots again, he will, again, try to load up to get Kelly out of there. This is why he will lose.

He has shown fatigue against Wright and Hopkins, fighters who dont fight at the fastest paces. It wasnt only because he punched himself out. He had several rounds to get his wind back and it never came back. Its an overall problem he has.

For his sake, he better do a better job of keeping his hands up.

I agree with some of the above posters who say his conditioning will be key. He had Kelly all but out of it in round two and was too tired to end things.

I think it's partially mental and not all that physical. He couldn't really get tired against Hopkins and Wright because he was being driven backwards by single counter-shots, neither Hops nor Winky put em together to the body and head to get him winded up or that much weakened... He simply runs out of ideas once he gets tagged real good and can't turn the tide up in his favour. Otherwise, when did Taylor come back from behind in his entire career? There were a lot of people sayin that his problem was all about self-confidence like he had some withheld potential that once released would make him an unbeatable fighting machine... I think otherwise - JT is as much a frontrunner as Zab Judah is.

IMO he should just jump on him and use his very good powerful punches and try and get a stoppage like he almost did last time . If he tries boxing him the same will likely happen again , he was boxing really well last time , but eventually got walked down and Pavlik wins again if he does that imo
