What is the best boxing experience you've ever had?

why do i bother posting when you're here john....

 

i would have to say my top 3:

1)making my wife watch gatti-ward 1 round 9 and seeing her as moved as i was

2)getting to spend a day training with hector roca at gleason's gym and learning all the things i was doing wrong and getting the motivation to do them right

3)meeting lennox lewis and realizing he really is all class as Chef says

 

I knocked a big mouth guy out in the first 30 seconds of the fight. They had to pull me off of him and it was very satisfying. All I remember about him was that his name was Cecil and he had been saying all week how he was gonna put me in the hospital. I put him in one instead.

i know right! the runner up was john sparring with harry greb in the backyard when they were kids (just kidding!)

 

Nope right cross to the jaw. Broke it clean.

 

I was at boardwalk hall for Pavlik Taylor. That was probably the best boxing night for me.

i am a very defensive minded fighter and i rely heavily on counter punching to win my fights, anyways i started working out at a new gym and told them i was pretty good and they asked me if i wanted to spar. they had this kid who i could tell was the "hot shot" of the gym and he thought he was gonna kick my ass, anyways we went a round and he quit.

afterwards one of the other members said good fight to both of us and the kid whom i beat response was, "yea right dude, i hit him like two times" word for word haha. i will never forget it

 

I had a good right cross back in the day, before I tore my rotator cuff and broke my thumb.

 

yup that'll do it:good tore my cuff to man and it never quite goes back to where it was before. nice to hear cats on here actually boxing. not that it really ****ing matters but it gives people a different perspective

oh yeah, and **** the left hook. right cross is where it's at. straight, full leverage, down the pipe or over the jab. hooks can suck my dick
