lol i love angles you can use to hit with hooks.
plus body shots with right hands are almost the worst punch when not in the inside lol.

true, the only dudes i've seen use rights to the body well is morales and mayweather

but ****ing hooks man, just feels so unnatural practising. and i just can't imagine getting the same leverage off a left hook than an overhand right

by the way, like an idiot, i love right hooks from an orthodox position

I liked throwing the left hook to the liver. Other than that it was mostly a jab and used for setting up the straight right or cross. I started out fighting lefty all tho I am right handed.

lol it does feel weird at first but i got used to it but no way you can get as much leverage but angels are what get people everytime. when i used to go to barry's augie preached that lol.

i don't throw overhands very much. im not really that good at it lol. i love the right uppercut. nobody ever see's it coming if you time it right.

good call on the right uppercut. i'll be honest i don't fight, i just train and practice (been years since i was in a ring) but i was hooked on sloppy overhand rights:lol: horrible, telegraphed but nothings more fun to throw

It is a lot easier for me to land that liver shot from the south paw stance. I had to switch back to righty later on. Just did not have a strong enough left hand to compete.

still, having the ability to switch back and have a dominate right hand jab is handy. i trained southpaw merely cause i'm slow as **** and my right jab is far better than my left jab and i wanted something in case i ever fought a faster fighter. the straight left though is hard to get down though as a righty for sure :!:

that punch hits a lot more than people think. i donno why but its pretty hard to defend. i got my first little welt from a sloppy overhand.
dude was 141 and i was 125 lol i never faught someone that seemed soo much stronger than me than he did lol.

hey man 16 pounds is a lot. it's hard to see cause most (not me) but most through it over the jab. that and it's a pretty unusual punch and you don't see it coming cause not a lot of dudes through it anymore. same can be said of the right uppercut, which is why my boy lopez landed it so frequently

lol i had noooo idea what i was getting into. i stayed away for most of the first round(5 minute round) the bam that shot and i was on the ropes and never forgot to waste a lot of punches early again lol.

it is and it can be a counter to almost any punch. i wish i could throw it better lol. it just isn't comfortable to me.

I have so many. Being 4th Row Ringside for Duran's final WBA Title shot and chanting DOO-RAN with the Panamanian Flag in hand was awesome. Being at the Thomas and Mack for Romero-Tapia was unforgettable and energy charged. Mayweather-de la Hoya was an awesome weigh in and I got to meet Duran....The Weigh in for Feroz-Trinidad was energy filled as well.... Being at the MGM Grand when Manny lost to Morales was cool. But for me, the absolute highlight of being a Boxing Fan was being in Vegas for Trinidad-De la Hoya. The Weigh in was great, but seeing the deadpanned expressions of the gay ass Loudmouthed Oscarsexuals and "one upping" their asses while wearing a Trinidad Shirt was........PRICELESS!:smoke:rasta:hat
