I mean in the sense that during the fight one guy was obviously losing on the cards and found a way to come back and win . Of course any type of fight like this usually gets annointed as a "classic" fight.

I remember one that me and my father were watching together (lightweights I beleive) but I cannot remember their names for the life of me . Two mexican fighters, and one was dominating the other and had knocked the other one down atleast twice and pitching a shutout only to find himself getting knocked out in rd7 . Very unexpected. I know I have it somewhere I will get the names of the fighters and post,it is a must watch.

Mike Weaver after losing 14 rounds takes out John Tate with one shot in the 15th. Ditto for Jake LaMotta against Laurent Dauthille or Diego Corrales after getting dropped twice in the 10th against Jose Luis Castillo rallies and stops in the same round.

I ve seen the Diego fight and yes that it is a great mention.I wonder would you consider Lyle Foreman a comeback for Foreman. Thanks for the mention on the Weaver fight ,I need to look at that, sounds crazy.

I suppose one could, but it did seem to have an air of tit for tat at that point in the fight. Perhaps Lyle-Shavers would be a better candidate because at the end of that 2nd round Lyle was really out of it.

    Toney-Nunn.

Because Toney didn't turn it all around with one big Hail Mary punch from out of the blue, he was way behind and being outboxed when he adapted, and started winning the fight... and yes, then there was the big punch that swung it decisively in his favour a couple of Toney-dominated rounds later.

I liked this one above all others I've seen because it was about skill as much as will, whereas a thriller like Castro-Jackson was more about just resilience and power.
