i'm gonna go with 135 since floyd retired
147 was the best weight class last year

the worst weight class (out of the ones that are usually talked about) has got to be 160, there's no one in there other than the champ and the other champ

Other than 135 and 147. I would say 122 and 126.there is guys like:
    Izzy
    Rafa
    PDL
    JML
    Caballero
    Molitor
    Guerrero
    Linares
    Luevano
Any fight between these guys would surely bring fireworks

Since Mayweather retired, Cintron and Cotto got KTFO I think welterweight has dropped a notch. And I only say this not because those guys lost but because I'm not sure if they'll be the same fighters again. I'm gonna go out on a limg here and say that 168 is the most competitve division in boxing. I mean you got Bute, Froch, Allen Green, Kessler, Taylor, Cazlaghe's talking about coming back down for a final defense. You still got Lacy, Zuniga, Andrade and Miranda that can still give you exciting fights if nothing else and there's some decent up and comers like Andre Ward and Dirrel...and let's not forget about Pavlik and Abraham that could easily move up at any time and a smaller Lt. Heavyweights like Dawson and Jones can always come down and make 168. Y'all might disagree but I think SMW is where its at right now. Yeah 147 has some great talents like Cotto, Williams, Margarito, Mosely, Berto and Clottey but I think it already hit its peak for this era....135 is interesting w/ Pacquiao, Casamayor, Diaz and Cambell but 168 IMO is deeper and is overflowing with good fighters and many great matchups to be made.

:good Good post. I think that Super middleweight has the POTENTIAL to be the best division with all the names you mentioned could easily fight there. But you could also make a case that a lot of those names would not be there. Jones, Calazaghe, and Lacy have all hinted at retirement. Lacy and Miranda aren't really the same fighters anymore. Andrade is just okay as a fighter. And Kelly Pavlik may not move up to middleweight officially for a very long time.

135 is tops if you could Pac / JMM / Guzman there. Welterweight second. Jr. Bantamweight (Mijares, Montiel, Darchinyan, Arce, Munoz, Kameda, etc.) third.

Yeah but Lacy and Miranda are no longer in the upper echelon of the division. I said that because of their power, they can still potentially make for exciting fights and I lumped Andrade in that category as well....but like I said, there are a lot of guys at the top of the heap that are damn good fighters and I'm not sure who the top dog is. There are gonna be some great fights at 168 in the nest couple years mark my words. Let's not forget Sakio Bika who gace Calzaghe a hell of a fight too. Again, I maintain that 168 is the goods right now and will only get better in the ears to come.

    1. 135
    2. 147
    3. 115

Although I wouldn't argue with anyone who wanted to switch the top 2 about.

I tend to agree with you about the 168 division. Its not got the talent that 135 might have but I really like to potential match-ups going on there. Welterweight, with Mayweather retiring, falls below lightweight who are getting some of the best fighters in the world moving up like Pacquaio and Marquez.

I also think heavyweight is no longer the weakest division. Off the top of my head 160, 154, and maybe even 130 may have surpassed the big guys for weakest division award.
