Lebedev against Gassiev sticks out for me as something recent, literally every punch was rattling Lebedev early on and yet he weathered the storm and imo earned a draw.
How tough is Valdez though,Quigg made a real mess of his teeth n jaw and yet he wouldn’t quit, neither did he blame the seven pounds difference, what a gent.

Don't know about all time, but Margarito Cotto I for recent fights. Those were some heavy shots from a pretty good puncher. Margarito walked through it like it was nothing. They had no effect on Margarito, at all. None.

    Tua vs Ibeabuchi

I think both fighters had reputations for never being dropped as professionals. Never being dropped is pretty much a boxing definition of a incredible chin against the most powerfullest of punches.

Tua was eventually dropped but that was when he was old and well past it.

P.S: I think I've typed posts like this three times before lol.

Holyfield vs Bowe as well. Holyfield was basically a cruiserweight fighting a super heavyweight eating clean shots from a much bigger man.

This was an epic battle between two of the best Heavyweight boxers of the 90s. They broke all punchstat records for a heavyweight fight.

Asked why he didn't quit Briggs" I couldn't do that infront of my woman ringside"...I like Briggs, I like that quote too, but that woman nearly got him killed :boxing1

Holy used to break Bowes heart in sparring apparently, and put Bowe in his shell. He was really confident and his team that it would play out that way in the ring for real going in to the fight. Bowe was primed for that one fight, and gave Holy a bit of a beating as we know. One of thee greatest heavyweight fights of all time imo between 2 top 10 h2h heavy's of all time imo

its already been said IMO by moreno

randall tex cobb v larry holmes

cobb had no skill or abilty and was basically a bar room brawler/toughman than a boxser yet he hanged tough round after round .

there were many cartoon epitahs at the time that heavy bags ducked more punches than cobb managed in the fight.

also helped that cobb looked the part / he most probably had to shave when he was 12.

    Trinidad vs Mayorga

The fact that Mayorga invited Trinidad to land not one, not two but THREE of his signature chunky left hooks is what makes it even more legendary. We already know Trinidad is an ATG puncher, and you know those shots hurt Mayorga since the 3rd punch rocked Mayorga's whole body and made him drunk the rest of the fight. He was never able to fully recover after those series of chunky left hooks, it would of been a more interesting fight if he never absorbed those punches. The fact that he went 7 more rounds absorbing enormous punishment to the head is testament to Mayorga's ATG chin. I've never seen a better display of chin fortitude in my life.

Monster chin on him to take them 3 shots, but as you say, it cracked his chin. Imagine if Mayorga had more discipline, he could've been everyone's bogeyman with his style, so awkward and strong with unrivalled bottle/madness. Very hard man to beat prime

People who know tend to rate George Chuvalo and Jake LaMotta's chins near the top. Tex Cobb against Larry Holmes or Mariusz Wach against Wladimir Klitschko were something else. Joe Grim used to make his living as a literal human punching bag a bit over a century ago.
