barrera 1.. It was more of like a coming out party for pacquiao. after that fight, pac became a truly certified Class A, big money fighter.
first fight with barrera, in my opinion, is the most impressive fight that pac had. it's also the fight that gained worldwide recognition and pac popularity
went with morales-pacquiao 1. That 12th round, hooooly ****. Of course, I don't like seeing Pacquiao lose either, but my god, that 12th round was the greatest thing ever.
Pac wasn't allowed to use his boxing gloves in that fight. He told Larry Merchant in a post interview that he would have knockout Morales with his punching gloves. Obviously, in their rematches, Pac was allowed to use his boxing gloves and he knockout Morales in each of those fights.
barrera I. pure brilliance. outboxing, out-jabbing, out-manuevering, and outclassing a master boxer-puncher is a brilliant feat simply unbelievable. i coulnt believe that a one dimentional featherweight neophyte could actually beat (in a stunning fashion) the king in his own turf. classic
