His recent performance v Hatton was pure class, bully the bully, let him wear himself out, potshot and push him back early on, thats all of what he did early on

Then box his head off after beating Hatton at his own game!

Many on Floyd´s super featherweight and lightweight matches, as example Corrales, Castillo 1 & 2, N'dou. And i want to add the Bruseles-fight although it was at super lightweight.

Probably two of his best fights against Augustus and Ndou you haven't included. Ndou being probably his most exciting IMO.

I would say that is his best performance.

Not just because he won, but the manner of the victory. I think plenty of people had tried to figure out how to beat Hatton, but I wouldn't imagine many would have suggested standing and trading - a few of tried that and just been eaten alive at 140.

Watching Corrales lack of boxing brain in that fight and robotic following of PBF kinda bored me. It wasnt even a fight and IMO, looked like Tito vs Wright. These fighters cant seem to get that urge to win when loosing of going for broke or even change their style 1 bit.

Or is the OP asking which fight did PBF fight best rather than best as in most enjoyable fight?

He wants the most exciting. But for me, Corrales was the most exciting because of the drama. I kept thinking that Corrales could catch him and end this fight at any moment.

For actual action, his fight with Ndou was very good.

Well its like he didn't even know what a jab was, he looked so casual just walking towards PBF where PBF would just sidestep away from the ropes and could never really corner him. After a few rounds you would think that following him around the ring wont do and he actually needs to start cutting him off. For the puncher he also seemed afraid to trade, despite having the much shorter reach(but taller), he was afraid to go inside and just try to maul PBF, instead he would throw wide looping punches from mid range where he would repeatedly get caught with PBF straight right.

Maybe it was just the frustration of watching something round after round that seemed painfully obvious on how to adjust to. Similar to Taylor not being able to adjust to Spinks when the adjustment is something as simple as throwing punches.

Yah, I get your point. I just had it in my head that the Corrales, who was favored and had that devastating power, would eventually catch him. I knew less about the sport then and couldn't tell he wasn't adjusting correctly.

lol, I thought you've been a follower of boxing for decades. When did you start?

I had the luxury of watching the fight a year after it happened so I suppose it never had that suspense and I wasnt feeling the hype. May have been different if it was live, its always different.

I started following it in the mid 80's as a kid. But you only remember the pure excitement and the sport. Who won, who lost, how good they looked doing it in the elementary sense. But not in an analytical sense you know what I mean?

In the late 90's early 2000's I started to analyze a bit more, but I was also just getting into my marriage and starting school. I am also a bigger NFL fan than I am a boxing fan, so I spent more time analyzing that than anything. In the past 3-4 years though, I really got into true analysis, and now when I look back at fights, I see all the things that I missed as a kid or when I was just watching for love of the sport.

OK, please tell me you are not still a bigger NFL fan than boxing.
