When I say realistic I don’t mean PBC fighters on the undercard of a Matchroom/DAZN main event. Or PPV fighters who warrant their own main event like Pacquiao on the undercard of Fury Wilder 3 for instance. A realistic one that I can think of would be Whyte Povetkin 2 or Parker Hunter on the undercard of Joshua Pulev. The Whyte Povetkin fight is reaching since Eddie knows that will do well as it’s own PPV main event. A potential future matchup like Smith vs Saunders unification would probably do quite weak PPV numbers on its own tbh so sticking it on a Joshua Pulev or Joshua Usyk undercard would be good as well. What’s the best possible but also realistic PPV card you could build from any of the potential matchups today? What would be good to stick on the Fury Wilder 3 card or Joshua Pulev card?
Joshua Fury Smith Saunders Parker Hunter Martinez Yafai @115 Eddie could sell that card for 35 quid and it would still do over 2 mil UK buys.
If DAZN/GBP & Canelo are able to mend relations I believe Canelo vs GGG 3 will be a PPV with Ryan Garcia vs Linares fight on the undercard. That’s the best scenario I can see.
Not realistic. He could do just the Fury vs Joshua fight with a poor undercard at £29.99 and it does 2m buys
Canelo Vs GGG 3. After the second one there was a bit of a lull and nobody was really asking for it (because they both went on to do different things) but after Covid I think the starved boxing fans want to see it now.
A Matchroom super flyweight night. Estrada vs Chocolatito, Srisaket vs Cuadras Jerwin Ancajas vs Kazuta 6 months later the winners of the latter 2 fights face each other, and the winner of that takes on the winner of Estrada vs Chocolatito to become undisputed at 114lbs. I know it's not realistic, but I've been daydreaming about a super six at super fly all week, so that's my pick.
