Julian Jackson was insane the way he could throw a knockout punch from any position. Scientists should study him

The lack of wind up in this punch makes it all the more impressive

the first right hand maselino masoe threw at evans ashira to win the wbc (?) middle title. up until that point, mace teased ashira in, by just throwing jabs. as soon as evans took the bait, mace clobbered him with the most wicked right hand you'd never want to feel. ashiras ancestors were wobbling. man, the sound that punch made near broke the audio of the tv telecast.

cant find it on youtube. it was there once...

    and why?

because mace was such a great bloke with genuine humility. he was past his best and had been denied opportunity all his life. when he got that first opportunity, he made the most of it. the first samoan world champion!! champion bloke too.

Tommy Hearns' right hand that Koed Roberto Duran. Why - because it was the only time Duran had ever been koed in his career. I always turn the volume up & listen to the impact.......nothing short of WOW!

Also Marciano's right hand KO punch v Walcott 1.
Why- because it would have killed a normal man. :yep

walcott had great footwork. he didnt bounce like ali and waste all that energy. holyfield was capable of walcott style footwork, but he bounced a bit also. wacott was a great fighter to watch for conservation of movement. perhaps the best ever.

watching the lead up to that marciano right hand, and walcotts lack of movement or even awareness of it about to be thrown, has always made me suspicious of it. you could see rocky lining him up for a right hand for 3 or 4 seconds. a fighter of walcotts experience knew it was coming. he didnt try and avoid it, he just let it come.

something about that stank. i'll bet im not the first to say so.....
