This is the most intriguing question to ask and ponder over. You have Mike Tyson and then you have Evander Holyfield and Lennox Lewis. There is just no doubt that Tyson just does not have the resume of major wins compared to the likes of Holyfield and Lewis, there is no doubt that by and large this is a guy who squandered his god gifted talents and abilities. But it is also quite fascinating to see that even today in 2016 everyone remembers him for his showings as Kid Dynamite from 1985-1991. Even now everyone ponders Ali vs Tyson. Just go on youtube and see the amount of Youtube videos dedicated to this guy and compare it to the likes of Holyfield and Lewis. It really begs the question doesn't it, when Tyson goes to his grave, would he be at peace with himself knowing full well that he is never ever going to be forgotten even though he massively under achieved. Compare this to the likes of Lewis and Holyfield who still have to answer questions, talk about their fights with Tyson and justify their victories when countered with "But you didn't beat the real best version of Tyson". Holyfield is mostly humble about it but i just find it hilarious to see Lenni constantly having to sell that victory and then justify it by mentioning the so called sparring dominance he had against Tyson in the 80's and how he would have always beaten the best version of Tyson. Compare this to Tyson, he just has to present himself in interviews, documentaries and just talk naturally without having to give any explanations, without having to justify anything. I wonder when is the Martin Scorcese Jamie Foxx movie coming out.
