But is that the biggest duck in the history of boxing :-(

Stick to the topic and stop injecting roidquez in every thread juantard. He's irrelevant now and his father Bradley retired him.

Nothing tops Dempsey and Co's calculated 7 year duck of Harry Wills. Nothing.

    Pac vs Floyd

    Floyd is a coward.

That's a stupid answer. Greb was a middle weight, Dempsey a heavyweight. Wills is the most common answer to who Dempsey ducked.

    "Willis"? Watcha talking about?

Wills is the common answer but Greb was a close second place. Greb had soundly thrashed Miske, Darcy, Brennan, Gibbons and Tunney, all Dempsey title defenses, but BEFORE Dempsey ever faced them. Think upon that.

Dempsey had more KO's in the first round than any heavyweight fighter in history, and fought Willard who some thought would kill him because of the size difference. After the fight people were saying he beat Willard so bad that he must have had loaded gloves, so why would he be have ducked the smaller Greb? Think about that? Hell I just reviewed a post of yours which seem to indicate you yourself picked Willis, not true but why kill a biased opinion with facts.

Because Greb beat his ass and cut his eye twice in sparring.

Because Dempsey's management thought it better to pick on Greb's victims than actually fight Greb.

Courage Tshambalala had a lot of KO1's also.

Oh, and Greb was lightheavy champ, also. Just like Tunney and Gibbons and Carpentier... all of whom Dempsey chose to face over Greb.

Ya nothing like ducking a rematch when you won the first fight and then retiring. You actually have to have additional fights with other fighters before you can be accused of ducking.

Kostya Tszyu did not fight Dela hoya, Mosley or Floyd
We clearly lost big fights there. Kostya was a terror for his opponents.

Certainly that's my pick, although Mayweather ducking Pac is a close second, but it's not as obvious as to why the fight hasn't happened as it was when Bowe threw the WBC belt in the trash even though he was under contract to fighter the winner of the Lewis-Ruddock fight.

I disagree simply because they had a signed contract the fight never took place because the promoter didn't forefill his financial obligations. That doesn't make it a duck, that makes it a business decision.

You're pick of Lewis is simply wrong. It may have been right if he fought other fighters but even then it might not be. What if Vitali demanded 100% of the purse, would Lewis be obligated to fight him simply because you and other Klitschko fans wanted him to? You can't really take off the cuff comments after a fight and equate it to a signed contract.

Floyd with Pacquiao and Bowe with Lewis. I went with these two due to the media involvement and amount of publicity.
