Shattered Glass is when a Glass Jawed fighter get's starched.

What is the biggest fight where Shattered Glass has occurred?

By biggest fight I mean most anticipated, great fighters lots of publicity and ppv numbers.

My pick is Manny Pacquiao vs Ricky Hatton, I dont think there has been such a brutal KO in such a big fight of recent times.

The other obvious option would be Roy Jones vs Tarver. I can't think of many other big fights that have ended in Shattered Glass scenarios in recent times.

    Thoughts?

I wouldn't say Hatton had a glass jaw. Not iron as he was also stopped by Mayweather but he did beat Tszyu who hit ridiculously hard. Hatton had a solid chin he just had a ****py defence and so when hit cleanly by perfect shots by Pac and Mayweather was laid out.

If Hatton has a glas jaw does Duran because Hearns blew him away.

The Tarver/Jones Jr KO has my vote. RJJ spent a long career rarely getting hit, but the signs were there, he was dropped by the light punching DeValle and Tarver and then Johnson proved once you could catch him cleanly Roy's chin was a liability.

Nah Hatton had a glass jaw by the end. At one point he had a very good chin, but his lifestyle caught up with him.

Ffs, they needed smelling salts to wake him up. Without them, he'd still be lying there right now

Can't say I agree, you're comparing a puncher like Hearns to Mayweather who, and let's be honest about this, is featherfisted at the weight.

When was the last time PBF KO'd someone like that?

There is always excuses when Hatton loses.

Lifestyle has nothing do with chin. If you have shytty chin you have shytty chin.

"Oh his years of fluctuating in weight caught up with him" Forget the fact that the guy who beat him is clearly better than him.

"Oh he was fighting out of his best weight" Then he goes back to the same weight class and gets KO'd

So you are telling me Hatton was unlucky enough to get hit by not one but two "perfect shots"?:rofl:patsch

Hatton was Glass Jawed. It had nothing to do with Defense, lucky punches, perfect punches, etc. There have been plenty of fighters with awful defense much worse than Hatton who were not KOed like he was. The Chin is your second line of defense. Having no defense is not an excuse for getting KOed.

Tyson vs. Spinks. The fight was huge, grossed an unheard of $75 million and ended shortly after the first bell with shattering Spinks awful glass chin all over the floor in 120 seconds.
