On my way down the street,
    I happened to meet,
A lady whose smile made my day,
    She proceeded to ask,
    If I fancied the task,
    Of boxing the champ Deontay,

    I was forced to admit,
    I was not very fit,
But she wasn't concerned about that,
    Nor my missing a limb,
    Or avoiding the gym,
And carrying an excess of fat,

    Twas enough I was big,
    So I landed the gig,
As the next can in line for the champ,
Though it may end in tears,
It's my first job in years,
And it's made me the happiest tramp

Back when Lenny Kravitz used to work with Shelley Finkel and Al Haymon he wrote a song about trying to find opponents for Wilder

You have to have a shaky chin and not hit particularly hard - or if not, be so ill it doesn't matter.

If Tyson Fury manages to look reeeeeeeeeeeally reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally shitty against Pianeta, he might have a tiny chance of being Wilders next opponent, though my guess will be that he will still pose too big a risk to be chosen.

In fairness to Wilder, if he does fight Fury it will, in theory, be a step in the right direction. Yes, Fury is not likely to be back to his best, but two difficult fights in one year would be a vast improvement on his his normal pattern of opponents.

He's in a situation now, especially after the Joshua situation, where he cannot really afford to be fighting c level fighters, as the media will rip him a new one.

    Now two years have past,
Since I saw that girl last,
But I suppose that I really should mention,
    That I saw her again,
    Yesterday in the rain,
As I queued up to collect my state pension,

Would you like me to fight,
I told her that I might,
For the money to buy a wheelchair,
    I'd accept my fate,
And go down in round 8,
It's not the worst outcome to bear,

    Alas I got the sack,
    She answered me back,
I'm afraid that's the end of that story, :(
    For twas my cherry pick,
    That left him pig sick,
When he got schooled by fat Tyson Fury,
