I'm planning on writing a book on boxing and I here this term being said. So, I was wondering whether this is some boxing jargon. Does anyone actually knows what it means?

E.g. Have you kept up with blxong circuit lately?

If you look up the records of Marty Jakubowski, Eric Jakubowski, Buck Smith and Harold Brazier, you will get a pretty clear picture of the Midwest circuit during those years.

    Depends on the context.

In one sense, a boxing circuit can basically be seen as boxing's version of a comedy circuit. Local small shows where pretty much everyone knows everyone and they're there to put on a small, local show. As Grey says, the easiest way to understand is to have seen it.

The other way is a training term which basically means, do circuit training focused around boxing. Things like 1m on the bag, then 1m of skipping, then 1m on the bag, then 1m of Burpees, etc.

I think that's what confuses me bc a comedy circuit from what I thought were venues in which the same comedians would frequently visit. I wondered how that would apply to boxing?
