Liston`s arms looked way longer than Ali`s when they fought, his arms dangled way low on his trunks in a pic.

Foreman also, he was a little taller than Ali and had the same reach.

Great photo of Randy. I’m liking your avatar pic though - Sharon Stone from The Quick and the Dead. Gorgeous!

George Foreman was 6"4, 215 in his first career, no grills affecting his weight. Ha Ha.

I'm confused .. is someone taking the position that Monzon could outpoint Ali over three rounds ?

I am not, Muhammad Ali was a heavyweight, Carlos Monzon was a middleweight. Two all time greats.

Yes, it`s just three rounds li was green and very thin in the olympics, Monzon probably would have beaten Ali`s olympic opponent in a thre rounder, 3 rounds isn`t a lot.

Sheriff Bob may have held grievances against Ali because Ali went to the Rome Olympics at light heavy rather than Foster and Bob had to boil himself down to 165lbs to have a crack at getting in the squad.
Anyway the Soul brothers won that night.
Have you heard Jerry Quarry doing an impression of Ali talking ?? He was brilliant

Good luck with promoting a fight now as The Soul Brothers vs….. I thought Soul Man was a great film - but I think that one has also been targeted by the Cancel Culture Club.

For sure, Quarry did an excellent impression of Ali. One time they cleverly played the audio before showing it was actually Quarry speaking - you could’ve been fooled it was actually Ali.

Maybe I just don’t see them now but impressionists don’t seem that prominent or in demand anymore. Years back, guys like Frank Gorshin and Rich Little were brilliant.

Frank Gorshin (aka The Riddler) doing Burt Lancaster and then Kirk Douglas - he absolutely owned those impressions - none better!

    Hahahaha superb.
I used to get mixed up between Lancaster and Douglas when i was a kid.
The 2 were brilliant in OK corral, an absolute belter of a film

Yeah, two great actors. I think they were good buds in real life though Lancaster jokingly gave Douglas grief about his height and wearing lifts. Have you seen THE DETECTIVE with Kirk Douglas? Great film. Also starred the gorgeous Eleanor Parker - who looked super hot in Scaramouche with Stewart Granger. She actually made Janet Leigh look plain.

    I didn't know Douglas wore lifts ??
He was quite impressive physically as was Lancaster.
I read Douglas was a non smoker but had to start smoking for a film role and couldn't quit till he was an old man.

Oh , it was comparing an olympic Ali at 175 vs an experienced Monzon ?
