I was honest with my prediction in every thread, it was pure heart and just being a huge Pacquiao fan that made me pick him, my head had DLH long ago.

    Why did you pick Pac?

The dumb part of your argument is that DLH was more "shot" than RJJ

Please try to use more than just a picture, and how bad he got beat by a superior fighter as your arguments

Don't forget that MANY(including myself) picked DLH in the Mayweather fight.

I like this. It gives you a good excuse when you lose to someone whom you're supposed to beat. BTW, he himself said that he felt rejuvinated! never felt more light and energetic these past years! He worked so hard for this and will KO Pac within 5rds. Failure to KO Pac will disappoint him. He lost to the better man that night. Just like what his hall of famer trainers said.

You wont find anyone disagreeing with this(cept pug and chj).

No need for those 2 sentences to make the point. Dont be an arse about it, DLH,MAB and Morales were prime were they?. If youre going to be critical of every detail, do it for both, or youre no better than the nuthuggers.

DLH's never been KO'ed TFU COLD twice in succession. He beat a more legit welter than Pac in the person of Steve Fobes and lost a SD against the then p4p fighter Floyd Mayweather.

And yeah... Pac wasn't knocked down everytime he fought a fighter with a worthy name.

i repeat , what does it matter that DLH fought mayweather a year ago. he was showing signs that he was fading badly that night anyway and have any of you new breed of boxing fans heard of the phrase " becoming old overnight ?".cos thats what happened to Oscar .he was truly shite.

29 year old Barrera in the first fight wasn't shot, whoever says he was is an idiot. Barrera came back from that loss to beat Morales in a fight everyone thought he will lose based on "shot" bull**** and kept that title for three years beaint guys like Peden and Juarez X2. Even when he lost the title he lost it to Marquez, who was top 5 P4P at the time in a VERY close fight where many scored it for Barrera(including myself), not to forget that he was robbed of a legitimate knockdown in that fight. Then he loses to Pacquiao and the Mexicans immedialy yell "HE'S SHOT FFS WTF", yet they forgot they were cheering their fat asses for him and yelling "ROBBERY" recently against Marquez, but because Pacquiao wiped the floor with him and he's not Mexican so Barrera is beyond shot. Sure, in the rematch I will agree he was shot too but in the first fight he WASN'T, which is why he was the HUGE favorite in that fight and a huge underdog in the rematch.

Morales was beyond shot alright, he was coming off a loss to Barrera and WIN OVER PACQUIAO before the rematch/loss came. He wins, he's not shot, but he loses he's beyond shot, huh?, the third fight was Morales is 100% true he was shot as the damage in the first fight and second fight combined brought out that result.

DLH wasn't prime but he was coming off a win over Forbes and a tough extremely close fight with Mayweather who was by far #1 P4P at the time. Compare that with Roy Jones beating Trinidad and getting KO'd brutally in most of his fights and compare that with Eubank coming off two losses to Steve Collins. Also look at the situation in that fight and compare it with the situation in Calzaghe's fights with Jones/Hopkins. Who had the advantages in that fight?, age and physical abilities?, it was Calzaghe, which is why he was the solid favorite in both fights. Pacquiao had ZERO physical advantages and ONLY age was on his side, which is why he was expected to lose and lose royally within 2 rounds or 3 if he was lucky.

Now that the fight is done with and Pacquiao made brutal work out of DLH, he's beyond shot and was supposed to lose?, sorry, but that was the talk before Calzaghe's fights with his shot opponents, wasn't the case with Pacquiao and justifiably so.

No they all started watching Boxing when Calzaghe beat the next coming of mike tyson, the amazing Jeff Lacy

And they probably didn't even see that fight, just heard about it, and started to convince themselves of Calzaghes unsurpassable greatness

Eh, Where did I say MAB,Morales and DLH were shot:huh

I pointed out you didnt need the sentence"3 HOH 3 past prime", Do you class Hop and Eubank shot?

If you class past prime as shot, then fair enough Ill retract, coz thats not what i thought you meant:good. I'd disagree about Eubank and Hop being shot though.

My point was you didnt have to mention the past prime for Calzaghe ,when you dint mention that MAB,Morales and ODLH were past prime, thats all. Pacmans record and standing speaks for itself, theres no need to be critical of just one of them to make that case.
