Well what is it? JMM has the FOTY so far and is the undisputed LW champ. Pac does not even have a title. He has already been offered 6 mil before he took the Diaz fight but took the Diaz fight instead for 3 mil.

After looking at what both have accomplished since their last fight i think u can pretty much say JMM deserves to be tied for #1 p4p fighter with Pac if not actually taking over #1.

Since they both fought this is what fights they have both taken.

    Pac
David Diaz, the most limited of the LW belt holders. Also we all knew he had no chance in hell to beat Pac. Did people forget Diaz's fight before Pac. It was not even for his title since im guessing Arum kne it was only a matter of time until he lost. He fought a guy that was not even ranked in the top 20.
ODLH - Good fight at first until we saw how weight drained DLH was and that he came in weighing even less than Pac. However the jump up in weight deserves props.

    JMM
Joel Casamayor - a future HOF and the lineal champ at LW. People may say he is shot but just before that he KOd what was supposed to be a rising star in Katsidis. The Santa Cruz fight I thought he lost but he had just had a long lay off so im thinking thats why he performed so poorly.
Juan Diaz - a in his prime fighter who is naturally also bigger than JMM. This guy has also fought at 140 and is 10 years younger than JMM. This was a 50-50 fight all the way and although it looked as if JMM might lose he used his brain to get back into the fight and KO a guy who even after taking 12 rounds of punishment from Campbell never went down.

Now why isnt this fight being talked about next for Pac?
What possible explanation is there for it?
I think the 3rd time is the charm for JMM. JMM's power has followed him up and actually even increased i believe. And JMM is also very smart and I think if they fight again he will have him figured out.

Pac is not obligated to fight JMM. Pac has already beat JMM(which I didn't agree with) but he has a win over JMM. If he wants to fight in the most exciting, biggest money fights, then let him. It's not like he's fighting bums or average fighters, he's fighting Ricky.

First three great answers, and also he has more things to conquer. JMM is the one who has to prove that Pacman is not better, Pacman already proved he was probably the better one when they fought.

When Pac beats Hattan he will look towards Mayweather and if Mayweather declines a fight then JMM will be next.

And if you think fighting Hatton and Mayweather are "excuses" for ducking JMM then your delusional.

bigger fish to fry two attempts are enough no one was crying for Joe C to rematch BHop, why should Manny rematch Marquez right now? because there are a legion of Pac haters thats why.

    Quote for truth.

And its not like no one is mentioning Pac-JMM III. A lot of boxing fans have it on their superfight wishlists, even Roach has mentioned it as a possibility.

There's a good chance its gonna happen though. Pac and Roach have already expressed a possible JMM rematch after Hatton, and JMM is planning to move up to 140 to fight the winner.

So no one should get their panties wet yet.

I dont think you wanna go by rounds. Because if it was by rounds won JMM would have the big edge here.

I hope the third fight does happen but to me Pac got robbed in their first fight so getting the nod in a very close second is enough for me but now Marquez is doing great at lightweight he definitely deserves another shot.

The #1 p4p always has to face the best challenges out there. Just like how we all gave PBF hell for not doing so during his reign.
Like i said since their last fight Pac has been taking the easy route while JMM takes the harder route to get the big fights.
And also Ricky Hatton is really not as good as people made him out to be. He has been exposed so many times. A guy like Hatton is taylor made for Pac. The only shot Hatton has is like so many huge underdogs to land that 1 big punch which in boxing does not happen so often.

Do you honestly think that Hatton will be more competitive than a JMM rubbermatch???
