What is the Fight of the Year candidate so far?

Pavlik- Taylor


Even thought Taylor is my current favourite fighter, this has to be my fight of the year by quite abit, followed by Cotto-Judah.

 

My votes (in this order):

Pavlik/Taylor
Vazquez/Marquez
Cotto/Judah

Codrington-Bika

 

Its a tough year but Marquez-Vasquez II is clearly the best.

I haven't seen that one but so far it's Pavlik vs. Taylor for me. Back & forth action from the opening bell, both guys got rocked & knocked down, ends with a serious KO, what more could you want?

 

It wasn't bad but it had a few boring moments here & there.

Even thou Pavlik KO'D JT i wouldn't bet on him winning the rematch, 1 more hard shot from JT in that 2nd round and Pavlik would have been asleep..

I liked Marquez vs. Barrera. That was a fast paced, at times violent, chess match.
