hard call for me, there has been a lot of talk of him going down to welterweight again.....even though he lost to floyd i thought he looked good at 154 and think he should stay there. a lot of people will move up in weight to fight him..

yeah i think your right... he hasnt fought at welter since Mosely in 2000 and didnt look too flash at middleweight. I think he should stay at 154 and wait for guys like Williams to move up if an offer was made

    154lbs is the best weight.

He can't make 147lbs and be strong

thats a big call for 2 reasons

1- its only 7 lbs difference or 3.18kg's

2- oscar is pretty professional, im sure he could make weight and be effictive.

Maybe i shld have said "He can't make 147lbs and be as strong.

btw 7lbs/3.18kg is a huge difference at the lower weights. Oscars now 34 years old, sure he can do it but at what cost?

I think Oscar comes in very weight drained at 147.
He is best suited to 154 at his current age IMO.

I like to think he can go to 147lbs, but he is a grown man, stands about 5'11 and to get down to 66kg, would be very hard for him.

i really hope he stays at light middleweight, i think he can be a title holder in that division again (i think that will be his 3rd time) maybe even have a shot at unifying it?

i think he would take Forrest without to many troubles... Forrest crumbles under alot of pressure and against the ropes (as we saw twice against Mayorga). Oscar just needs to watch out for that right hand; Forrest punished Baldomir with it all night long.

Well I heard that Oscar has to eat like a fatkid to be at 154 so I think he could still be at 147 and effective, maybe more effective. Remember DLH started off at 130 (?) and moved up in weight for the money not because he needed to. Maybe a 34 year old DLH's best weight is 147, maybe he would have better stamina at that weight.
